TECO

TECO s.r.l., a company manufacturing machines for cardboard packaging, with a family management was founded on January 1995 and is the result of the experiences acquired in the field of packaging machines. The Company derives in fact from CARTECO, erecting centre for corrugated board packaging operating since 1989. The first tray formers were designed and realized for the erecting centre itself; the successful results led to the foundation of TECO, dealing with the production and sales of automatic packaging machines. Very soon it earned a reputation in the field of cardboard and fresh produce and turned into a major Italian manufacturer of automatic formers for corrugated board. The easy utilisation and regulations of TECO tray formers allowed the company to expand to other fields, such as bakery, pastry, and dairy products, meat and even chemical industry. Its present production program includes tray formers for corrugated and solid board, american boxes, lidding machines and plastic crates erecting machines, as well as a wide range of accessories, such as stackers and conveyor belts. TECO mainly focuses on the serial production of solid and uncomplicated standard machines, but on request the company also provides customised solutions. As a matter of fact, TECO can rely on its own design team, and therefore owns in full its drawings, technology and know-how.

Machines overview

T2N

Solid and easy-to-use automatic tray former for the folding and gluing of all most common cardboard trays for fruit and vegetables. It can be configured with forming sections for Citrus or P84 or for tray with corner post without top flaps. Its high productivity and reliability, quick changeover time and good price-quality relation have been granting it a steady presence on the market. It can be fitted and retro fitted with short and long side double folding devices.

T3

Solid and easy-to-use automatic tray former for the folding and gluing of cardboard trays with reinforced corner post for fruit and vegetables. It can be configured with forming sections for Citrus or P84. Its high productivity and reliability, quick changeover time and good price-quality relation have been granting it a steady presence on the market. It can be fitted and retro fitted with short and long side double folding devices.

FA46

Case former to open and fold RSC (FEFCO 200-201) with positive opening system. The machine forms and then seals the boxes with either tape or hot melt glue. It has been designed for quick changeover time and user-friendliness. Thanks to its extreme versatility, the FA46 case former offers reliable packaging solutions for a wide range of products, such as produce (apples) and the food industry as well as chemical products, in general.

AC03

The automatic opener for foldable plastic crates features a large magazine area designed to contain a whole pallet of folded crates. The machine depalletizes the stacks, then opens and secures the foldable walls. Once erected, the crates can exit the machine one by one or stacked. Machine in stainless-steel construction.

FT04

Automatic lidding machine for top covers in corrugated board. The open top trays are conveyed on a belt through the machine, which folds the lid directly on the box. The lid can be loose or glued to the box depending on the customer’s own requirements. The machine can run a wide range of lid sizes and shapes which can fit the packaging needs of every market, from industry to small retail. As a matter of fact, the CK01 machine can fold standard lids for the protection of the products during transport as well as special irregular shapes, whose clever design allows to easily convert transit cases to cost effective on-shelf display boxes for the final point of purchase.

FT2K

Automatic tray former model Ft2k is the ideal link between our punnet machine and the standard tray former for cardboard trays. The mechanical system for the transport of the blank from the magazine to the forming area guarantees the accurate and constant positioning of the blank, which allows a very high precision in the folding and gluing process. The FT2k is very compact but features an open design and easy access for all standard maintenance operations and format change. High production speed, easy handling and reliability in time are guaranteed by the considerable expertise of TECO in the field of packaging. The FT2k is available in several configurations, for the folding and gluing of standard trays for fresh produce, conical trays or even more complicated constructions, which allows this versatile machine to apply for all different production needs.

T2K

Automatic tray erector for trays in corrugated board with top flap. T2k is the latest project developed by TECO and is the result of the experience acquired as manufacturers of automatic machines for corrugated cardboard trays during many years of presence on the market. The T2k allows high production speed as well as folding and gluing precision, without losing sight of the reliability and operator friendliness that have always characterised our products. The machine design features a special care for operators’ safety, and the extremely easy regulations guarantee an outstanding flexibility. The machine folds and glues a variety of tray styles and cardboard qualities, from small and lightweight flutes to much thicker double layer types. A wide range of options and customisations allow to meet customer’s requirements.

T3+PF SPECIAL

Automatic tray erector for folding and gluing blank of length up to 2000 mm and foot print maximum of 600 x 400 mm. The machine workflows start from picking the blank from the pallet, folding and gluing corner posts and sides. In special release the machine can run boxes with a footprint of 1000X600 mm.
